Thank you, Board of Directors!
Our sincerest thanks to the generous service of our inaugural board of directors! Our inaugural board of directors consists of Brandie Dickerson, James Travis, and Inessa Pawson. Their selfless contributions of time, energy, knowledge and financing has made the mission of Albus Code to expose boys and girls to coding and computer science a reality.
I am very happy to report to the board of directors that the first year of Albus Code was fantastic! We successfully provided meaningful computer science educational services to scores of local children. Thanks to your help, and to the assistance of other volunteers, Albus Code provided these potentially life-changing educational sessions to the students, at no cost to them. As you know, I have an enduring interest in computer science. I enjoyed teaching some of the classes of Albus Code this year, while assisting the teaching of other of its' classes. Additionally, this past year, I have continued my own education in computer science. I have earned certificates in "Microsoft Introduction to Python: Absolute Beginner" and "Microsoft Logic and Computational Thinking". Please accept my heartfelt thanks for everything you members of the board of directors have done this past year to advance the charitable activities of Albus Code during it's first year of existence. Let us together work to further expand the beneficial activities of Albus Code this coming year! Submitted June 2019
